In autumn 1994, when the dental clinic “Prizma” was established, it was obvious to practicing professionals that it is necessary to establish a dental care center which will be foremost focusing on the satisfaction of positive expectations of our patients and not only for the delivery of classical health care. It was well known that in Europe and America the standards of dental care have already changed drastically a long time ago. Besides the traditional treatment and functional recovery appeared the so called “esthetic rehabilitation of |
patients”, in other words cosmetic dentistry. Many changes have taken place since then. We have realized on practice that the optimal format of modern dentistry is the next: an ordinary dental clinic center and established on its base specialized departments of cosmetic dentistry, modern methods of prosthetics, surgery treatment and implantation. This format is now extremely rare, even in the west, where the local "personalized" dentistry predominates, with its low concentration of specialized knowledge and a slow introduction of new technologies. |
